Scotch-Brite™ Automotive Durable Flex Hand Pad 07848 combines high performance features to give you the fast, consistent scuff your sanding jobs require. It is an ultra flexible and conformable web designed for cleaning and fine finishing. The Scotch-Brite™ Automotive Durable Flex Hand Pad replaces steel wool to eliminate contamination.
The performance of Scotch-Brite™ Durable Flex Hand Pad is comparable to steel wool, but our Scotch-Brite™ pads won’t shred during use, rust after use, or create fine metal splinters. The non-woven, open-web material resists loading and can be used dry, with water or some solvents, and rinsed clean for reuse. This multipurpose pad can be used by hand for precise control. Breakthrough fiber coating technology allows Scotch-Brite™ abrasive products to cut faster and produce a more consistent scratch than competitive non-woven abrasive products, reducing the time and effort it takes to finish parts. Combining abrasives with the fibers creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. Our Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasive products’ non-woven web keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibers.

Ultrafine ranges from grade 800 to 1000. Flexible foam pad enables user to sand hard-to-reach areas such as headlight openings, around door handles, door jambs, etc. Helps to eliminate finger marks and can be used wet or dry.
For scuffing before applying paint and primer-surfacer. Also used for used car reconditioning. cleaning upholstery, headlines and door pads, chrome and white wall tires. Rinses clean and does not rust. Can be used over and over again.
Kit contains 25 disposable lids with 125 micron filters, 25 disposable liners, and 10 sealing plugs. The 125 micron filters are recommended for water borne paint or primer applications. The cleaning of the cup is not necessary with SATA RPS, thus saving time, cleaning agents and cost. Perfect colour match and perfect paint jobs reduce time and cost intensive rework. And the very few components additionally facilitate the entire work process – simplicity pays.
Adapters
Contrary to other disposable cup systems, SATA RPS does not require any adapter in combination with SATA paint spray guns. Therefore, the spray gun can be easily and reliably cleaned. RPS adapters – For older SATA paint spray guns and spray guns of other manufactures spray gun adapters are available.
Optimal Polish is a mildly abrasive compound designed to remove P2000 grit or finer sander scratches from any paint surface-from soft, freshly painted to fully cured paintwork.
