Aluminum oxide resin fiber sanding discs are the most aggressive coated abrasive for sanding large areas. These resin fiber sanding discs have a high resistance to heat, glazing and loading, and are excellent on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. These resin fiber sanding discs are recommended for blending edges, seams and corners, weld grinding and deburring.
OPTIMAL COMPOUNDS & POLISHING KIT is a start-up kit that contains compounds and polish. Includes one Optimal Cut, one Optimal Polish, one Optimal Glaze, one Optimal Fast Wax, one Optimal Shine and one Buffing Pad Kit.
The 3M™ Particulate Filter 2071 is NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles.
Use with 3M™ Respirators, 5000 Series or 3M™ Cartridge, 6000 Series with 3M™ Adapter, 502, or 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece, 6000, 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece, 7000, and 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece, FF-400 Series with bayonet filter holders. When properly fitted, use in a variety of applications such as grinding, sanding and welding for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. The filter is both flame and water resistant. It is an ultra flexible and conformable web designed for cleaning and fine finishing. The Scotch-Brite™ Automotive Durable Flex Hand Pad replaces steel wool to eliminate contamination.
The performance of Scotch-Brite™ Durable Flex Hand Pad is comparable to steel wool, but our Scotch-Brite™ pads won’t shred during use, rust after use, or create fine metal splinters. The non-woven, open-web material resists loading and can be used dry, with water or some solvents, and rinsed clean for reuse. This multipurpose pad can be used by hand for precise control. Breakthrough fiber coating technology allows Scotch-Brite™ abrasive products to cut faster and produce a more consistent scratch than competitive non-woven abrasive products, reducing the time and effort it takes to finish parts.
