3M 34442 70mm x 12mm P80 Velcro Cubitron II
Use these 80+ grade sheets for shaping plastic filler, removing paint around damaged area and scratch refinement of bare metal. Built with patented 3M Cubitron™ II precision shaped abrasive grains, these sheet roll abrasives cut faster and last longer than other sandpapers.
These sheet rolls feature our unique kiss-cut scorring technology which enables users to be cleanly and easily converted into multiple sheet-lengths. For maximum dust removal, 3M has added hundreds of small holes which have been purposely arranged in a chevron formation.
The triangular-shaped ceramic grains of Cubitron™ II are electrostatically oriented to form sharp peaks, each acting like an individual cutting tool that slices through paint and body filler, wearing evenly, and providing long life.
For dry sanding old paint, primer, primer surfacer, and between-color coats; also for deburring, removing sand scratches, shaping and finishing plastic filler, and featheredging repaired areas. Special No-Fil coating prevents premature loading. Can be cut into halves or thirds to fit neatly on jitterbug sanders.

Small panel (non-structural) adhesive; in universal cartridge. Incredible strength and sandability. Use for small panel bonding, repairing and filling plastic, metal, SMC and fiberglass. Applications include cab corners, door skins, small quarter panels, rust panels. Work time: 5-10 minutes. Unclamp time: 30-45 minutes.
Kit contains 25 disposable lids with 125 micron filters – full diameter – , 25 disposable liners, and 10 sealing plugs. The 125 micron filters are recommended for water borne paint or primer applications. Graduated measurement to 28 oz/840 mL when used with mix ratio film insert (mix ratio inserts sold separately). For use with parts 16023 and 16124.
Coarse foam compounding pad used to apply compound to remove sanding scratches and swirls. Medium cut. Convoluted foam face design holds compounds better to reduce slinging of compound. Suggested for use with Perfect-It™ Rubbing Compound (39060, 06085, 06086). Use backup pads 05717 or 05718.
3M™ Dry Guide Coat is used to identify surface imperfections such as pinholes in body filler and deep scratches in primer. Unlike liquid and aerosol guide coats, Dry Guide Coat requires no masking before use, and there is no dry time after application. The dry formula contains no intentionally added solvents and doesn’t clog sandpaper while delivering easier cleanup.
