NIOSH approved against formaldehyde and certain organic vapors. Use with 3M™ Half and Full Facepieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 Series with bayonet filter holders.
Use in a variety of applications, including laboratories, wood processing, carpet manufacturing, and primary metals manufacturing. When properly fitted, helps provide respiratory protection from formaldehyde and certain organic vapors at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). OSHA requires that gas proof goggles be worn with half facepiece respirators when used against formaldehyde.

Maxim™ Control Flow Seam Sealer is compatible with most topcoats and can be applied to bare metal, cured paint and surfaces primed with primer surfacers or E-coats.

Kit contains 25 disposable lids with 125 micron filters, 25 disposable liners, and 10 sealing plugs. The 125 micron filters are recommended for water borne paint or primer applications. Graduated measurement to 28 oz/840 mL when used with with mix ratio film insert (mix ratio inserts sold separately). For use with part number 16023 or 16124.

3M™ Weatherstrip Adhesive is a black-coloured, high heat-resistant adhesive that is waterproof and remains flexible. It has a fast strength buildup, helps to provide good creep-resistance and is intended to bond to a variety of rubbers, fabrics and metal. The adhesive is also excellent for bonding ethylene propylene diene (EPDM) rubber.
