CARWORX 300.200 Liquid Mask
Area of application
This water-based masking fi lm is applied with a spray gun. The liquid material dries to a clear, non-bonding fi lm, protecting all coated vehicle surfaces against spray mist (of solvent and water-based paints), solvents, dust, welding sparks, polish splashes as well as from any light mechanical damage.
Characteristic features
Gravity-fed spray gun for water-based paints. Recommended nozzle size: 1.8–2.2 mm.
Norton 6728, 16′ x 400′ Plastic Overspray Sheeting is an economical way to protect surfaces not being painted. The Norton 6728 is a thin mil plastic sheeting that is fast and easy to handle and apply. It will cling to surfaces being masked and resists tearing when pulling or repositioning. Since it is Corona treated paint will adhere without flaking off, while resisting solvent pentration and paint bleed through.
Rage® Xtreme™ is the world’s first truly pinhole-free premium body filler. This technically-advanced, unique formula is self-leveling for easy spreading, reducing sanding time to remove heavy texture. Easily sands with 80 grit sandpaper, eliminating the need for coarse grits that can cause sand scratch swelling. Contains Evercoat® ZNX-7® which quickly provides superior adhesion to galvanized steel and aluminum much sooner in the repair.
ZNX-7® insures faster and easier sanding without risk of pulling back the featheredge and having to re-apply filler. Formulated to resist penetration of new and more aggressive HAP*-compliant solvents and waterborne coatings, Xtreme™ improves the quality of the finish, reducing the chance for repair mapping, comebacks and redoes. Small panel (non-structural) adhesive; in universal cartridge. Incredible strength and sandability. Use for small panel bonding, repairing and filling plastic, metal, SMC and fiberglass. Applications include cab corners, door skins, small quarter panels, rust panels. Work time: 5-10 minutes. Unclamp time: 30-45 minutes.
